Overview

We are excited to welcome the world back to Lake Placid!

The United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation and the Olympic Regional Development Authority invite all national federations affiliated with the IBSF to compete in the 2021 IBSF North American Cup Tour in the following disciplines:

  • 2-Man Bobsled
  • 4-Man Bobsled
  • 2-Woman Bobsled
  • Women’s Monobob (Part of Women’s Monobob World Series)
  • Men’s Skeleton
  • Women’s Skeleton

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each race. Timing scored to 1/100th of a second.

This event is available to spectators on race days only! Please feel free to utilize this page for general event information, start lists, and results.


 Registration Deadline

It is the National Federation’s responsibility to enter its athletes through the IBSF’s online system at http://ibsf.sportresult.com/Login.aspx. The deadline for submission is five (5) days before the first team captain’s meeting. This must include all NF athletes and staff members. There will be no exceptions if you miss the deadline.

COVID-19 Guidelines

This event will follow all IBSF COVID Protocols

Please view the IBSF COVID Protocols for all information. This event is available to spectators on race days only! No spectators will be allowed to attend any training days.


Face Coverings Guidelines

  • Indoors: Face coverings (masks) are required at all times, regardless of vaccination statusindoors except for when you are seated and dining.
  • Outdoors: Vaccinated guests do not need to wear a face covering, but are recommended when near unknown guests, or when unable to be socially distanced. Unvaccinated guests are required to wear face coverings and be socially distanced outside.

1Risk Health Screening App

Thank you for your cooperation to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. All athletes & coaches must complete our daily health check form within 12 hours of your arrival at Mt. Van Hoevenberg. This simple online form includes an acknowledgment of our face coverings requirement, in addition to a confirmation that you meet the health screening questions and do not have a temperature greater than 99.9°F.

We recommend taking this step in the morning (before 7:30 am) prior to heading to Mt. Van Hoevenberg.
