“Lake Placid 2-woman Bobsleigh World Champion Kaillie Humphries (USA) celebrated her first victory in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2022/2023 in the third race of the season. In Lake Placid (USA) Humphries, with push athlete Kaysha Love relegated Olympic Champion Laura Nolte with Lena Neunecker (GER, 0.12 seconds back) to second place.” – IBSF.org
“Lake Placid (RWH) Bobsled pilot Brad Hall from Great Britain celebrated his first World Cup victory in 4-man bobsleigh at the BMW IBSF World Cup in Lake Placid (USA). With Arran Gulliver, Taylor Lawrence and Greg Cackett as his pusher crew, Hall relegated Olympic and World Champion Francesco Friedrich (GER) with Thorsten Margis, Candy Bauer and Felix Straub to second place by one hundredth of a second after the two race heats. For the British team it was the first 4-man bobsleigh victory since Lamin Deen in Whistler in November 2017.” – IBSF.org
