Loppet Juniors
Winter
Loppit Juniors has started!
Loppet Junior is designed to support a life-long love for cross country skiing and Biathlon. Skiers develop sports skills and fitness toward enjoyment and proficiency in cross country skiing. Individuals will learn technical and mental skills through experience, games, and exercises that will create a solid foundation for a life in skiing. Our team will focus on creating a positive and rewarding environment for all to participate.
Skiers in this program will work toward skiing in one of the events at the Lake Placid Loppet weekend and in each of the ADK Citizen Challenge Series events. The program fee includes a season pass to Mt. Van Hoevenberg for the 2020/2021 season.
All programs will be held at the new Mountain Pass Lodge. Dates, times, and protocols are subject to change.
Daily Health Check
All season-long program participants must complete our daily health check form within 12 hours of participation. This simple online form includes an acknowledgement of our face coverings requirement, in addition to a confirmation that you and your child/dependent (where applicable) meet the health screening questions and do not have a temperature greater than 99.9°F.
We recommend taking this step in the morning (before 7:30 am) prior to heading to the mountain. For weekend-long programs, please complete the health check form each morning prior to arrival.
If you would like to sign up for an email reminder that will go out each Friday evening in advance of our weekend Season-Long Programs, please click here to opt in.
Face Covering Requirements
As a reminder, face coverings (masks) are required at all times while you and your child/dependent (where applicable) are at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, except when you are actively skiing or seated and dining.
