The Mountain Pass Lodge is the Hub of Mt. Van Hoevenberg. There will be a specific area for the awards plaza, a spot for campfires, dining on the deck, and more!

Indoor Push Start Facility
We have constructed the only indoor push-start facility, for bobsled and skeleton, in the United States. Completed in January, athletes from all over the world will travel to Lake Placid to use this facility!

The new 55,000 sq. ft. Mountain Pass Lodge is the newest addition to Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Featuring two retails spaces, food service, showers, lockers, a climbing wall & so much more. The Mountain Pass Lodge will be your home away from home!

Cliffside Coaster Now Open!
The Cliffside Coaster
The new Cliffside Coaster is the longest coaster in the USA and will celebrate the 1980 Olympics, as it travels alongside the historic bobsled track.

The Cliffside Coaster
During the 7 minute ride to the top, guest will hear professional commentary that explain the historical significance of the track.

The Cliffside Coaster
Guest will control their own speed, as they twist and turn, following the curves of the original track. Timing and Audio systems will give riders the thrill of what it is like to be an Olympic Bobsledder.
