For Larger Groups (7 or More)

Bobsled Experience tickets may be purchased for up to six people in a single online order. If you are looking to purchase tickets for more than six people and/or for multiple households, you’ll need to make separate online purchases (one per household, up to 6 people total), or you can choose to complete the Reservation Request Form below.

Each sled can hold up to 3 passengers total. The cost for a Single Ride for 1-2 Passengers (ages 9+) is $250 total. You may choose to add a 3rd Passenger (ages 13+) for an additional $100.

As a reminder, each sled can hold up to 3 passengers total. The first two passengers must be 9 or older, and the optional third passenger must be 13 or older.

We do not require email addresses for participants under 18. You may also leave the address field blank if it is the same as the Primary Contact address.

Ride Requirements

First and Second Passengers must be at least 9 years old and 52 inches tall.
Third Passengers must be at least 13 years old and 52 inches tall.
The maximum weight per passenger is 300 lbs.
The Lake Placid Bobsled Experience is not recommended for individuals with neck and back problems, heart conditions, who have had recent surgery, or who are pregnant.

An electronically signed Assumption of Risk form is required prior to your ride. Save time and fill out ahead of time here (note you will be presented the Assumption of Risk prior to checkout if purchasing online).

In Case of Inclement Weather

Bobsled Experience availability is weather-dependent. Even with advanced reservations, please check the Activities & Events calendar to confirm there are no closures due to inclement weather. You may also call Mt. Van Hoevenberg at (518) 523-2811 on the day of your visit to confirm that there are no session cancellations in the case that there is inclement weather forecasted.

If the session you have booked is canceled due to inclement weather, our staff will make every effort to reschedule your reservation (or provide a refund if we are unable to reschedule).
