For Larger Groups (7 or More)
Cliffside Coaster tickets may be purchased for up to six people in a single online order. If you are looking to purchase tickets for more than six people and/or for multiple households, you’ll need to make separate online purchases (one per household, up to 6 people total), or you can choose to complete the Reservation Request Form below.
Please note that completing a Reservation Request Form does not guarantee ride availability. We will contact you to confirm availability before finalizing your reservation and taking payment information.
Before You Arrive
Face Covering Requirements
Be sure to visit our Health & Safety Information page via the link below in advance of your visit for face-covering requirements.
- Drivers must be at least 9 years old and 52 inches tall. If you are driving with a passenger, you must be 18 or older.
- Passengers must be between ages 3-12 and at least 36 inches tall.
- The total weight limit for the coaster is 300 lbs per sled.
- No helmet required.
An electronically signed Assumption of Risk form is required prior to your ride. Save time and fill out ahead of time here (note you will be presented the Assumption of Risk prior to checkout if purchasing online).
For Online Reservations
Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early at the Mountain Pass Lodge to check in for the Cliffside Coaster. Your start time will be within the one-hour time block you selected at the time of purchase. You’ll need your [email protected] ticket(s) either printed or on your mobile device for scanning at check-in.
In Case of Inclement Weather
Cliffside Coaster’s availability is weather-dependent. Even with advanced reservations, please check the Activities & Events calendar to confirm there are no closures due to inclement weather. You may also call Mt. Van Hoevenberg at (518) 523-2811 on the day of your visit to confirm that there are no session cancellations in the case that there is inclement weather forecasted.
If the session you have booked is canceled due to inclement weather, our staff will make every effort to reschedule your reservation (or provide a refund if we are unable to reschedule).
