Overview
U.S. Cross-Country National Championships
We are proud to welcome the nation’s top cross-country skiers to Mt Van Hoevenberg for a week of world-class competition. Join us January 1-9, 2026, as more than 450 athletes from club and college teams across the country will gather here to race for national titles and earn their place on the international stage.
This prestigious event will feature three U.S. National Championship races including the 10 km Individual Start Classic, 20 km Mass Start Freestyle, and Individual Sprint Freestyle as well as the SuperTour individual Sprint Classic.

Awards
Award ceremonies will be held in the North Plaza following each competition. The top six overall, top three U.S. Citizens, top three Under 23 , and top three Juniors will be recognized in the ceremonies. Cash prizes will be awarded for the US Championships and SuperTour winners.

Team Information
Waxing Facilities
The Team Area at Mt Van Hoevenberg is equipped with 24 wax cabins, each with 150 square feet of working space, 20 amp electric service, lights, heat & ventilation. Additionally, there is space for parking trailers and trucks with 20 amp and 50 amp electric service. There is a fee to use the cabins and trailer/truck space and these spaces must be reserved through the event registration.
One wax cabin will be available for day use without reservation. No materials can be left in this cabin overnight.
There is no parking allowed in the Team Area. Vehicles are allowed for load-in only.
We ask that teams do not set up food tables in the Team Area. These can be set up in Lot A, which is the lot adjacent to the Team Area. There are electric outlets available in Lot A for food tables. No generators are allowed on the venue.
