Trail Running
During the summer and early fall, the ski trails at Mt. Van Hoevenberg transform into a great place for trails runners to log miles. With over 50 km of trails—including 15 km of bike-friendly singletrack—you’ll experience a mix of wide, rolling paths and more technical terrain.
Looking to go the distance? Follow the Porter Mountain Trail for a long, challenging run, or build your own route with trails like Flatlander, Interloopen, or East Mountain!
Craving some vert and a view? The Mt. Van Hoevenberg East Trail is a 3.6-mile out-and-back to the summit. Gaining 1,000 feet of elevation through gentle switchbacks (never exceeding a 12% grade), this trail rewards your effort with a sweeping 180-degree view of the High Peaks.
